What is Depop: Upcycle Project?

A travelling fashion expeirence through community led pop-up shops, encouraging mindful and sustainable fashion to reduce waste and give old clothes a new life.

Depop: Upcycle Project is all about creating your ideal wardrobe while being good to the environment. Learning how to upcycle clothes will not only make them last longer, but it will add a personalized style to what you wear. As a second-hand clothing brand, we are aware of the recent surge of fast fashion, and we want to show people how they can expand their wardrobe in more environmentally concious ways.

During this event you will have the chance to take classes to upcycle and make clothes, run by talented individuals who are happy to provide support on your upcycling jounrney.

Material will be abailable on site, coming from the overflow from the local British Heart Foundation. You can also bring your own clothes to upcyle and improve.

Getting your Ticket

You can get tickets to the event by purchasing them in the "Tickets" section of our website. They are priced at £3 per person with access to all the available classes at the event. 50% of profit goes to the British Heart Foundation, so you'll be helping charity alongside the environment.

What clothes will be there?

We don't know the exact clothes or materials that will be available at the event, but we're sure you'll find something you like. With tickets at just £3, come down and have a look! You can even upcycle some clothes you already have if you want too.

Don't know how to make/upcycle clothes? Don't worry, we will have people on site to teach you how to effectively upcycle your clothing to get the most out of this event.

Left Over Material

We will have a zero waste tolerance at this event. Any material not used will be donated to art studios and schools to be used in art projects.

We are not in control of any of the clothing within the pop-up event. Please be mindful of this when attending.

Sustainability

By coming to the store you will be making the world of second-hand fashion more sustainable. This store has been designed to provide as little waste as possible, with any leftover scraps being sent to art houses for scrap fabric.

New Skills

This project will give you new skills in crafts and design, allowing you to express yourself using your own                                     creativity and learn how to elevate your style even further.

Personalisation

By participating in the event you will be able to personalise your wardrobe with clothes made specifically for you. You don't need to worry about destroying your loved clothes for an idea that may or may not work, as the clothes used in the event are specifically there to be cut up and turned into something new.
